I had a jolly nice day

Got up late, and read my book for a bit in the conservatory with two cups of tea and a couple of ciggies. Later on in the morning I went into town and did a bit of shopping, (just some essentials like biscuits, chocolate, ice cream, a new top, a new swimsuit, etc) then came back home had lunch and did some gardening. Had dinner, (sausage egg and chips, with raspberry flan and Elmlea for pud.) Then hubby and I went to see a local amateur production of South Pacific. Very enjoyable - they were really good considering none of them were professionals. We both had an ice cream and a soft drink in the interval. The ice-cream was really scrummy...Double chocolate with loads of chocolate chips in it. Back home again, and shared a bottle of wine and a couple of ciggies with hubby, then went to bed, slightly sozzled, and very happy with the day.

Symptoms:

You go to bed and try to get comfy. You turn on your side, and plump up your pillow, and snuggle down. Then you start to realise that your head is too heavy. The weight of it is pressing down on your ear, and SQUASHING it! You turn over to the other side and try again, but after a few minutes it happens again to your other ear. You try lying on your back, but can't get comfy, so you try lying on your side again, etc etc. Of course it's not actually called squashed ear syndrome, but that's what I call it!

Does anyone else out there ever suffer from it?

Yesterday I read a nonet here
and was encouraged to try my hand at one, so here it is:

The Sounds of Peace

The gentle whispering of the breeze
The birdsong high above my head
The noise of tinkling water
The buzzing of the bees

I was in Guildford on Sunday, and took a stroll around while I was there. I was rather taken with these tree sculptures which were in Woodbridge Meadows next to the River Wey.

Only Two, but I already had lots of bars of chocolate in the cupboard

No

Easter eggs and chocolate

4. What is your favourite chocolate? White, milk, dark?
Dark, preferably Cadbury's Bourneville, or for second choice Cadbury's Wholenut, third choice any nutty chocolates, fourth choice any chocolate at all, fifth choice anything with chocolate on it, in it, or tasting vaguely like it!

5. Did you give anything up for Lent??
No
