Thank you for sharing one of your favourites with us. It happens to be one of my favourites too. I remember well that sudden ending!

    A little bit of trivia.
    
    We were married in a cathedral. The one time I went in the back door and came out the front door - no choice! lol

        Even more basic - I paid the usual to the archdeacon going in the back door and 'tied together' we won the life lasting prize coming out the front door! lol

I absolutely adore old churches,cathedrals and all those places of mystery and worship. GOd, they endure! Not many things do these days!

Its strange I lived in Basingstoke and Andover not far from Winchester at all, and I never saw the Cathedral!

Smack on the wrist for that as its a beautiful building.
