Monday.... spent most of the day sorting out an urgent family problem - lots of phone calls and long conversations with other family members trying to solve the problem without upsetting anyone.

Tuesday.... went to Ipswich to the Regent Theatre to see Beverly Knight. Left home in the afternoon, and had a nice Indian meal in a restaurant before the show. Beverly was in fine form, and we thoroughly enjoyed the performance - except that when everyone stood up and started wriggling around I had a hard time seeing her. I could see fine when we were sitting, but the chap in front of me must have had very long legs, so I ended up peering between his and his partners shoulders in order to be able to see. Took quite a few photos, but I can't zoom in very far with my little camera, so they're not very good - but here's the best one just in case you're interested

Wednesday....Spent the morning catching up on the chores then went to the doctors in the afternoon for my regular 6 monthly check up. I have to have them because I'm on Statins to help keep my cholesterol down, and Clopidogrel which inhibits blood clotting. All was hunky dory

Thursday....Got a phone call from the dentist, to say that my regular dentist was off sick, so the needed to re-arrange my appointment that had been scheduled for that morning. I wasn't at all happy about that, as I'd had a toothache since Friday 23rd October! Already told you all about that HERE I absolutely refused to change my appointment time, and eventually they said that if I came along to the surgery and waited then someone would see me, but they had no idea how long I would have to wait. I went, and I waited, and waited, and read every magazine in the waiting room from cover to cover, and waited....and eventually my name was called. The dentist (a rather dishy young man as it happened) Xrayed my jaw, and identified an infection in the root. He had to drill right through one of the crowns of my bridge to access it (and managed to hit the nerve, which reduced me to a trembling lump of jelly, so he gave me a second injection before proceeding), and finally drilled down to the infection, and then inserted a temporary filling. I have to go back for some more work. and a permanent filling on 27th Nov

Friday.... Spent most of the day baking (bread and egg-free cake amongst other things) and catching up on housework. I usually have my baking day on Thursday, but I really couldn't be asked to start once I got back from the dentist - my tooth was aching even worse from all the prodding about once my mouth had unfrozen! It had eased up a lot by Friday morning though, and by the evening it was fine so long as I didn't eat on that side.

Saturday.... Spent the day travelling to and from Mum-in-law's with hubby, and had a pleasant few hours there cleaning all the tiles in her kitchen, and conversing about the pro's and con's of various types of incontinence pads :**: Took her the egg-free cake I made (She's allergic to eggs, but she does love her bit of cake) Did get to see one of my nephews though, as he dropped in while we were there, and also my brother-in law and sister-in law who arrived with one of my little great-nieces in tow as they were babysitting her. Had a nice chat with them all  Got a KFC bargain bucket on the way home and pigged out on that while watching X Factor on the telly. :))

Today.... Recuperating!! (and thought it was about time I updated my blog!)

That's it folks - hope all's well with all of you, and I will now do my best (after I've cooked dinner) to catch up on some of your blogs.
