I keep saying no to friends invites lately - I'm sure lots of them are lovely people, but I just don't really want any more :no: Rather have nice chats with all the lovely friends I've got than spread myself too thin

:) I've been doing that for a very long time, Susie...Can't possible catch up on all 97 friend's posts, not that 97 do post but go back twenty four hours each day and catch up that way...we'd be sitting at the comp twenty four hours a day otherwise...LOL...GBHs...XXX

Dont worry about "catch up" raving good friends wont mind at all :yes: people that have a thousand friends Im sure dont even bother to read their friends post can you imagine that it would take a week to catch up with so many ;) xx

I don't want to delete any of my true friends though, (the ones that don't comment don't really count - they're just blogs that I like to read because I find them entertaining), but most of my friends comment regularly and I really like them, so I certainly wouldn't want to delete them.

Unfortunately with your honesty and your commitment you set yourself an impossible task, which may have come about by building up an unmanageable friends list and trying to please everybody.

After nearly 5 years my list remains at little over 20 and I have developed the habit of generally reading and commenting only when I have been visited and a comment has been made. To further help I am active in only one group.

You can see how false 'friends list' must be when many have more than ten times the number that you have. In fact one 'lady' who was active here for only a very short time, has well over a thousand listed! Imagine even thinking of keeping up to date with that!

You will surely feel the benefit of reducing what can become an ever increasing list, by simply deleting the names of those who have not visited you for a mighty long time with no reasons given. There are many more ways for further reduction, of which you are probably well aware.

I was once reminded never to let a task become my master -always remain master of the task.

The concert was excellent, but I think I must be getting a bit long in the tooth, because I can't really comprehend why all these people pay good money for seats then spend most of the performance standing up!!!! It's crazy:!:

It was ta Milly, I stayed up till about 2 in the end, but slept like a log when I went to bed, and didn't wake up till gone 10 this morning :))

I try not to have meat pie too often, but I'm a bit of a sucker for a nice bit of fruit tart (or crumble) with custard on it
