It's silly isn't it....getting so hooked on going on-line that we get so upset when it doesn't work properly! A couple of years ago I wouldn't cared very much, I'd just have gone away and done something else :yes:

Bloody computers!!! I sometimes think they just like to wind us up!! As fast as you get one problem sorted they invent another one that's guaranteed to send our blood pressure levels through the roof. It's a sort of love hate relationship isn't it

My problem seems to be sorted now....though it's anyone's guess how long for :yes:

Hope you get your problem sorted ok Jane - 'fraid I can't think of anything helpful you can try, except maybe ask about it on Ask or Answer group blog - you never know, someone might have an idea :yes:

I know!!! There's always something isn't there!!! Sort one problem and another one rears it's ugly head :**: All we want is a nice quiet evening catching up with friends on the PC and will the computer let us NO :!:

My problem seems to have gone now, and I'm hoping that it's gone for good this time (had a similar problem a few weeks back) :yes:

That's a real nuisance for you not getting all your emails - at least my emails seemed to be getting through OK. It's always rather worrying when emails don't arrive isn't it, as you do hear sometimes about them going to the wrong person, so you find yourself wondering where they've ended up! Hope you manage to get that sorted soon :yes: :yes:

Yes, I did have similar problems before, and wasn't sure what it was that hubby and I had managed to do that fixed it. We assumed that it was something we'd done, as we checked out so many things, and next day it was fine again! Same now really - it SEEMS to be fixed, after running all sorts of spyware (all came up OK) and changing the homepage, rebooting the router, etc. etc. So I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed that it's not going to happen again sometime!

Nope! Computer wouldn't let me anywhere near it!! Seems to be sorted now though, and I'm hoping I won't have any more problems (though stupidly I thought that the last time it happened!) Hey ho.....the trials and tribulations of the blog addict

I've had to log in to get any blog.ca sites for some time now, so I don't think it was anything to do with that, because that shouldn't have stopped me being able to access my friends that use BCUK, and I couldn't even answer comments on my own blog!....the computer just bombed out when I tried to send them! It was really strange, you'd have thought that if I could actually post this blog I'd have been able to answer any comments on it wouldn't you?!!

Anyway, seems to be sorted now - fingers crossed Time will tell I guess :yes::yes:

Hope you get your photo problem sorted - It's a real pain when things go wrong just as we settle down for a nice relaxing evening in blogland and can't get it to work properly isn't it!!!

We ran loads of spyware and it all came up ok. Then hubby found out that the BBC had been having major problems with their website, and he also found out that other people had been having similar intermittent problems, so we changed our homepage to Google (it was previously set to the BBC homepage!) and that seems to have sorted it, but I'm sure there must be something else wrong too, as lately I've been having to reboot my router nearly every night at about half eight! That's GOT to be something to do with the ISP hasn't it??

You're right :)) - there's no point in letting myself get annoyed about it, it doesn't achieve anything except a rise in blood pressure - but that sort of thing always seems to happen just when you really feel like switching off from the real world for a bit and immersing yourself in blogland doesn't it!! Its sooo annoying isnt it raving Im having problems with my emails some get through some dont :roll: my daughter emailed me didnt get it another friend has emailed me no luck my computer crashed a few weeks ago !!! at least I can get this blog site ;) hope it gets sorted soon x
